Outplacement

At Elephant, we offer a different outplacement service. We run a group workshop for employees whose roles have been made redundant. It provides them with assistance and support in writing (or refining) their c.v., preparing for an interview and starting their job search.

This can be a cost effective way for you to provide help to your employees. It can also be run individually one on one.

Part 1: Writing your c.v.

In the first part of the workshop we work through:

  • How to format and make your c.v. stand out
  • Writing clever cover letters
  • Ringing up for jobs and coming up with your elevator speech

    Part 2: Being Interviewed

    In the second part of the workshop we work through:

  • How to prepare for an interview & make a great first impressions
  • What questions they'll ask: both formal and informal
  • Referee checks & other checks and how they work

    Part 3: Starting Your Job Search

    In the last part of the workshop we work through:

  • Finding job leads and overcoming setbacks
  • Keeping a job search log & action plan

    This workshop is facilitated by either Angela Atkins, Lisa Reidy or Jenny Cooper.

    All three of our facilitators are experienced recruiters so can answer all your employees questions and concerns about what's it's really like out there at the moment.

    The CV and Interview Training workshop can be run in 2 - 4 hours.

    We facilitate at your premises and up to 10 people can attend the workshop.

    We can cater for larger numbers however there is an extra facilitation cost.
